so nor, mei yan and i woke up early at 6am and went to change and get ready. the folks agreed to giving us a free ride to bedok interchange where we met up with the others to cab down to east coast park. YAY! we arrived on time. this event, the Fina world cup is dang interesting. it has people doing open water swim distances such as 10k, 6k, 5k, 3k, 1k and so on. we even  saw the olympic women's champion for the 10k open water swim. and i must say, the males and females alike, ARE HOT. seriously hot. *drools* and i must give them props man. they could complete the entire damn 10k distance and maintain a good pace through out! such an amazing inspiration. 

okay so initially, we spent almost the entire morning waiting for instructions, of which none were given at all. so we just sat under the big green umbrella by the beach near the starting mark for the race. some of us were so tired that we actually lay down and slept in the shade, covering our eyes with the milo hat. haha. so basically, the morning was a complete bore. 

BUT THEN. in the afternoon, we were paired up with people on jet skis to do rescues. oh my gosh, this was like my friggin first time on a jet ski, AND I LOVE IT! :D though i fell off it once and got a huge bump from it and that it caused me to loose my hat cause it got blown away, it was awesome shitz man! i was paired up with a guy called lin and at the end of it, he let me try riding the thing for fun! SHIOKNESS! haha. i so totally wanna learn more. anyone wanna come along? :D

so at the end of the day, we bought some stuff from the TYR store (heh heh heh i cant resist!) and collected our pay (a measly 40 bucks) and took lotsa pictures. shall post them up when i get them from professor cham. heh heh.
