Watching mean girls totally reminded me of this lovely song. haha. it just has alot of meaning. rachel mcadams sure can act as a real mean bi-atch. HAHA. but she can really act. i loved her acting in the notebook, it was so touching that i cried. really. i loved the last part. SIGH. i suddenly have an urge to watch the notebook and cry buckets! oh no! and there goes my mugging for BTT. GIRLS! we must watch the notebook, mean girls, 27 dresses, just my luck, 13 going on 30 and all the darned chick flicks ever made okay! HAHAHA. im so in a chick flick mood. :D

found this online. haha. i remembered this from the first book. this was like the sweetest thing ever. :) im very much looking forward to the movie coming out in december! haha.
anyways i woke up today with massive cramps and with the headache from hell. literally. i always hate this time of the month. grr. the hormones can really cause a serious mood swing. i feel like crap at times. oh well. anyways so i spent the entire day lazing at home again. haha.

a night of excitement, a day of boredom.
so, i went to watch the F1 last night with ryan. managed to get the tickets thanks to squid's dad. :) haha. it was just a practice run. but it was pretty interesting, for a person like me who has never seen the F1 before. haha. took some pictures and videos. i didnt manage to take pictures of the pratice in session as my measly little handphone camera couldnt catch the cars in time. haha. they ARE that fast. haha. 
(sorry for the pretty sick video over here. haha)
oh and who can forget TWILIGHT! i hope it doesn't turn into like the Jumper movie, which was also based on a sci-fi novel. haha. the book is EXCELLENT. the suspense and the plot is so addictive, i just can't put it down. really. haha. im down to the last book. this is so exciting! :D if i fail BTT, you know why. hahaha.
anyways, lazy saturday at home today. i spent it cleaning up my room! its so much neater now. heh heh. *pats self on back* if anyone has been into my room recently, you would realise what a pig sty i have been living in. i can't even use the desk cause its cluttered with stuff and the chair was used to keep last semester's (i mean year 1, sem 2) notes. haha. but now its all packed up in a nice box under the shelf. i did gooooood. :)
okay and FINALLY. trailers of movies i wanna watch! they are great i tell you. pretty contrasting. and call me a gory person but i just LOVE the movie SAW. i think its brilliant. the story line sans the gore is the best. :D anyone wanna watch with me?

been pretty busy lately. many apologies for the lack of updates. haha. i have been pretty lazy to update ever since sunday, after cheryl's birthday steam boat with ceremix! i had the BEST time ever on sunday with the girls. we had a mini seoul gardan at her place with great food prepared by her mum (thanks auntie! :) ) and cooked by us. heh heh. the catching up session was the best. haha. we were doing head bobs and singing along to high school musical which was playing on the tv. haha. okay it mostly from cheryl. HAHA. im glad to have met up again girls. its been great. I CANT WAIT FOR OUR SLEEPOVER AFTER As! :D and and CAN SOMEONE SEND ME THE PICTURES TAKEN ON SUNDAY TO POST HERE? hahaha.
OH and not to mention what has kept me busy aside from job hunting, PURCHASING THE TWILIGHT SERIES. haha. omg i havent buried my nose in books for a VERY long time. this was the first time in many months that i have. :) its really an addictive read. and as a good friend, i managed to get dear mei yan addicted, sam is gonna be next. haha. but dear rach doesn't seem interested the moment she saw me reading it. haha. i know im slow, but im glad i got to read it. i love the way the author described EDWARD CULLEN. topaz eyes, with honey gold flecks and a nice crooked grin on his face. GOSH. i SO get the picture. HAHA. and he is a vampire too. i want a vampire boyfriend too! HAHAHA. vampires in this book are so hot. well, most of them. heh heh.
AND FINALLY, i have cut my hair! it was quite sudden actually, i just decided to cut it since mum and dad were cutting. haha. :) so don't get a shock when any of you see me. heh heh.

ABBA FEVER
watched Mamma Mia today. AND all i can say is OH. MY. GAWD.
i feel so so bad for ignoring it now. i totally remembered the days when i was young and my folks would put on the ABBA cd. Dancing queen, S.O.S, Mamma mia, I have a dream, Chiquitita, Waterloo, Money, Money, Money, The name of the game, Knowing me, Knowing you; just some of the classics from ABBA. dad was right, he was predicting that after the movie, people would be digging out the ultimate ABBA collections cds and start listening to them again. well, i know he did that! and i am doing that now! haha. :D
sigh. good times, good times. the thing about ABBA's songs are they are feel good, catchy and you can't help but belt it out mid way through the song. haha. i totally felt that way when watching the movie. oh and believe me! i heard 3 people sitting around my area in the cinema singing along. :)

TGIF
today was a hot day! haha. okay random. but i mean literally, it was HOT. haha. i have never sweat so much! anyways today went to meet mei yan luv and nor. we met at 201 to intro nor to our DARLING golden river. mwahaha. yes we got another one addicted. NOR, SHIOK RIGHT. then we headed to to photo shop for mei yan and i to take ic pictures for the life guard job at tampines swimming complex.
we headed to tm after which to makan at long johns and wander around. namely, Xcrafts, charles and keith and montip. at montip, there was a hilraious scene. nor was like trying on this head band and refused to take off. so this girl went to the cashier and was like, "err, i want to buy this" and pointed to her head. haha. the sheepish expression on nor's face and the cashier's confused face was CLASSIC. should have taken a photo. haha.
so we then walked to sports complex, dropped off the forms and went for training. oh and they told us to come back on tuesday for trials for the job! yay! i hope i get the job.. so training today was great for me i guess. allen taught me a different way to train my left arm for the stretch cord. hope it helps. i want BICEPS! BICEPS! HAHAHA.
oh and i FINALLY and SUDDENLY had a brain wave on a special something for a special someone. heh heh heh. :)

the day out with 3 out of 6 of the girls. :)
HAPPINESS.
it is the one and only word i can describe for today. okay maybe joy and stuff. but happiness is what i really felt today! after so long (okay maybe only in weeks), i met up with sher, vien and rach! we went to town. was supposed to shop for something and watch a movie. but instead we just shopped. hahaha.
we went to raffles place for lunch at chippy's when i totally forgot there was an outlet at far east. HAHA. then we walked around, took pictures and then headed to far east to vivien's beloved maggies. THE ONLY REASON WHY WE WOULD TRAVEL THERE. HAHA. we literally walked into almost every shop and tried on clothes and dresses and laughed like hell and left. :D oh and we played the game SHOOT, SHAG and MARRY which i learnt from mei yan luv and ky and intro-ed to the girls. HAHA. the first question we asked vien was the FUNNIEST. now we know who vien wanna shag eh? *wink wink* hahaha.
so after that rach left and the rest of us walked round weelock place and zara and headed back to east point cause vien and sher needed stuff from popular (JC people. sigh. HAHA.). and i tell you, the entire bus ride back was hilarious, we were like totally laughing like mad. we were eyeing this cute guy on the bus (labelled "MAN CANDY" hahaha), tried to do impersonations of duffy's" mercy", acting like bimbos and trying to imagine us doing a pussycat doll routine, or danity kane routine. HAHAHA. super hilarious. we kept laughing like mad. hahaha. i think everyone in the bus thought we were nuts. after that i had a talk with vien over certain stuffs while waiting for her bus to come. haha. i think she missed like, 4 buses? too crowded. HAHA.
this is why i love my girls, we laugh at the most random and lame stuff and act crazy together. :) and im so looking forward to the party on sunday! its gonna be like, the bimbos united! hahahaha.
OH and to vien and sher, you know the moment i turned on my ipod to go home, i heard duffy singing "yeaaaah, yeaaaah, yeaaaah". HAHAHA. pictures from today! check out some of the unglam moments. HAHA! vien is gonna kill me.
anyways im feeling abit down though, for some strange reason. yeah i know we talked through this and i know you're gonna be damn busy cause they are behind schedule and we spent a day together, but its like i can rarely get to see you anymore cause they are making you work over time and during the weekends. this is just the petty side of me talking. like what vien and i were discussing, its probably normal to tend to feel like that but i must be realistic and mature about it! haha. well its time to learn vanny, time to learn. you owe me a big hug after all this kk! haha. :)

dancing muffins and hanging out with darlings. :)
i had the most interesting dream last night, after watching the dark knight with squid. i dreamt that i failed this english test. failed badly. then i was super depressed cause my english standard was usually okay. so to cheer me up, squid brought me to this cute pastry shop that sold the pastries i liked and they were shaped in like cute little things, like the ginger bread man, donuts shaped in a van, cute little biscuits shaped in remote controls. haha. and the day special was dancing muffins! i was so enjoying it and grabbing everything off the shelf cause they said it was on the house. HAHA. just then, the alarm on my phone went off. -.-
squid says its a sign that i need psychiatric help. HAHA. i think its more of like a reflection of who i am. like sometimes, issues like failing english and all that could really get me depressed easily and quickly. and YES. i eat when im depressed. hence the part where im brought to a cute pastry shop. haha. oh and i like cute stuff. so yeah thats my guilty secret. haha.
okay dreams aside, today im heading over to golden river to buy string with mei yan luv! :) then we are gonna head down to safra tampines to apply for a job then go for training. hope i can survive the trials. i know for sure that chance that i won't make it is pretty high. so not too much hopes pinned on. just to break my PB. haha.
AND AND! TOMORROW IS GONNA BE GREAT! im gonna meet my lovely ceremix! okay well mainly rachel, sher and vien. we are gonna RUN! haha. and watch mama mia! :) so looking forward to it.

i am at peace now. i hope.
many apologies for the crude post. i was too agitated. as what squid said, i have to come be at peace. HAHA. well im fine now. whatever lah. whats done is done. i should channel my energy to people who actually appreciate my efforts right?
so anyways nothing much today, went to have crab with squid and his mum today. squid caught a beetle today and apparently, its shell has the same colour as what i was wearing today. -.- hahaha. thanks squid, you know how to make me smile. :)

content or stress? hmm.
im too lazy to update on what happened during the camp. it was long and tiring. but still, it was quite enjoyable (though there were only like 20 participants). made new friends and stuff. haha. well many thanks to those who came to help, especially chen ann and ky! it was quite last minute when i asked but you guys still came to help. thanks so much. and apparently according to chen and ky, i look like a small boy/ fillipino maid in this picture above. har har.i would say the only mood spoiler of the entire 3 days would be the second day, late afternoon, RESULTS! haha. well shall not talk about it. thanks squid for rushing down from work to meet me in school for a short while even though you were almost home. i feel much better knowing you are always here for me. :) well, i felt content cause i improved grades overall, but abit sad due to a drop in GPA. again. what the hell is wrong with you vanny?

of triumphs and failures
a post to finally update after so long! sorry people. been pretty busy. haha. lets see, life saving nationals open water was held yesterday and on saturday at sentosa. it was really an interesting event. :)
oh and congrats to everyone! temasek lifesaving team won the men's champion and 2nd runner up for the overall champion!
it was a totally unexpected win as we didnt expect much due to the fact that the teams consisted mostly of juniors and we didnt win as much events for open water. overall, it was a great experience. cheering each other on and such. personally, my performance for open water wasnt as good as still water. as what squid said, im not built for running sprints! hahaha. well at least i know i pushed my hardest even though i came in last. i literally waddled like a penguin instead of running to the finishing line. HAHA! but it was a good experience for me. seeing the team cheer for me actually pushed me to complete the damned thing and not be embarrassed bout being last. haha.
well at least now, i know what my standards are and where i stand. hopefully, i would get to take part again next year, AND i hope to clock in at least 1 minute and 20 seconds or less for the 100m manikin tow with clip and fins. whooo! hope and train. thats the best i can wish for. haha.
but one thins i will never for at all is, as what coach said, it was the team spirit that is what makes this team. the bond we really had was so strong. i loved the feeling of togetherness. its like finding your family in this team and having a real sense of belonging. so what if we didnt win overall champion or more gold medals? we were there to support each other through and through, shouting, screaming, running along with them, jumping up and down just to root for our team mates, despite the fact that we know that the waves crashing down on them would cause them not to hear. this is what this life saving team does. and that is why i love this team so much. :)
well aside from the nationals and trainings, i have been helping out with the prep for the engine leadership camp (which is starting tml..) programme. well after all the planning and scrambling, i hope things turn out well. haha. il be gone for the next 3 days. so okay time for rest. its gonna be a long 3 days...

PROJECT RUNWAY MADNESS!
omg im so glad the exams are over cause i so totally have time to freaking watch season 4 and 5 of project runway!just watched finished season 4 and i MUST SAY, IM SO GLAD THAT CHRISTIAN WON! like omg man, he is like, THE BEST! i mean i like jillian too, but christian's clothes are totally unqiue and so chic. (can you believe this coming from me??) hahaha. and he may seem arrogant but i love his character. he is so dramatic, so entertaining and interesting! especially when he says fierce to describe fab stuff. so cute. :D i also loved jillian's collections. i think they were so pretty and the variety of dresses and stuff are amazing. drools.
the collection was so awesome, the designers were like (as what nick ferrero puts it) "you want clothes? here they are, bitch." HAHA. thats so fierce. oh my, the fierce thing is totally sticking on me.
okay, season 5 of project runway, BRING IT ON BITCH! HAHA.*snaps fingers*
