SANTANA IS THE MAN.
yesterday, went to watch the SANTANA concert with dad and bro. i only have three words to describe it. GENIUS, BRILLIANT and ABSO-BLOODY-LUTELY FANTASTIC. okay so maybe thats 4 words. haha. my dad was SO not kidding when he said that you have never been to a concert UNTIL you have been to a SANTANA concert. seriously, the GUITAR riffs, the percussions and even the SINGERS voice was beautiful. soulful and at the same time, up beat. everyone in the audience including the PRESIDENT (yes, mr SR Nathan was there. HAHA. ryan and i caught him standing up and clapping along.) was dancing along to it. this might be the only time you see me dancing (or rather, TRYING to..). can you imagine? the last time he came was in '96 and yesterday, the indoor stadium was about 90% full. oh and the best part was, the ENCORE was AN HOUR LONG. my personal favourites were especially when he played my favourite songs "Maria Maria", "Black Magic Woman", "Smooth" and did all those solos on the accoustic. the guitar solos left me speechless. my my my, this is by far one of the BEST concerts i have been to.
... and after all the excitement and fun i had last night, its BACK TO WORK for me. sniffs. happy study week everyone. *sigh*
